The growth of The Human Solution and the need to produce more solidarity ribbons was the inspiration for this short notice event. Folks came out to Willow Creek Springs botanic garden and nursery for an afternoon complete with perfect summer weather, great food, swimming, and of course we learned to make solidarity ribbons.
Folks came from as far as Orange county and Mt Baldy and as near as right around the corner. They brought glue guns, dremmel tools and the willingness to help, learn and follow directions.
Candace Klie and Liz Grumbine demonstrated the techniques necessary to create our signature symbol of solidarity. Though the ribbons are simple and elegant, keeping uniformity and quality control is no small feat.
The new and the familiar joined together and produced over 200 finished ribbons that met “quality control’s ” rigors then we feasted on pot luck delights.
it looks like many new developments are about to break in the Human Solution including a new chapter in Australia and several projects in the chino/pomona areas. Stay tuned or contact us to get involved 951-436-6312
