What began as an ordinary summer morning quickly turned into emergency mode as I received the call that CPA collective in Lake Elsinore was being raided. I guess it must be kind of what a firefighter feels like when he gets the call. I posted everywhere I could think then began to call out to the “Green Team.” A raid response was needed. these events almost never get any coverage and the only way we are able to see or possibly affect the situation is to show up and not only witness the event but voice our protest.
6 of us showed up in 3 cars while calling others on the way. We parked away from the full lot of new unmarked DEA vehicles. Agents were loading boxes of “Evidence” into an unmarked van. We ran up on the scene bearing our Solidarity ribbons and first amendment right to free speech. Quickly, Liz Grumbine got up in their faces asking /demanding to know what they were doing and why weren’t they fighting actual crime? Cameras and video began recording and chants begun to erupt. “DEA go AWAY” and “WHAT DO WE WANT?” echoed across the street. I recognized several of the agents from previous raids and they had the usual arrogant attitude not answering any of our questions and waving childishly as they left. Unfortunately my phone wasn’t working properly but this gallery will be added to as more pictures are turned in.
We explained to the local business owners nearby that came out to look that these actions are funded by their tax dollars and that patients were being denied their access to their medicine and lives were being destroyed in the justice system. Several patients came up and asked “What are we supposed to do now?” I answered, “Maybe we need to start demanding our rights and take a stand.”
Heroes run to the problem while weak ones run from it. Clearly we need more heroes.. please join us when the need arises and be a part of the Green team. We should have hundreds rather than dozens when these horrible raids occur.

meanwhile on our way home less than 5 miles down the road, a murder scene was being investigated. We asked them about the raid….
they knew nothing about it
The government wastes so much money worrying about patients, when real crimes are being committed right under their noses
I keep calling out “HOW ABOUT NOW??”
or do you wait till they take your freedom away!
these are the feds folks, they don’t care if you are growing 1 plant in your yard.. to them you are outlaws and must be stopped,.
it’s them that we must stop!!
